So, it turns out we've had an interesting turn of events (which might be seen as a positive or negative, depending on how single you are and how hard you like to party). The University of Texas (Frith's alma mater) has decided to put their graduation ceremony on the weekend of our wedding.

While this means there are 10,000 drunk 22 year olds tearing around the city that weekend, it also means that accommodation is filling up quickly as people travel from all over the state to see their kids throw their caps in the air.

We have secured rates at two hotels, at different budget levels, but you might also want to look into Airbnbs and VRBO rentals in the South Congress area.

ACCOMMODATION OPTION 1:
The South Congress Hotel

The South Congress Hotel is brand new (it hadn't opened by the time we secured our rate), but it's a boutique hotel with well designed rooms and a sweet pool. It's close to a lot of nice restaurants and is barely a $5 Uber to downtown. The rate is $259 per night.

ACCOMMODATION OPTION 2: 
Austin City Hotel

The Austin City Hotel is a Best Western Plus, but don't let that put you off. We've stayed here a few times after festivals or the Formula 1, and it's a great option. It's also just over a mile to the South Congress Hotel and all the bars/restaurants of South Congress Ave.
