On Thursday evening, for those who just couldn't wait to get to Austin, we'll be hosting a dinner with some of Texas' most infamous BBQ. The Salt Lick is renown for its 150 year old recipes and mammoth helpings of some of the most delicious meat you'll have ever seen. It's a sure-fire cure for jet-lag. While we thought only 50 people would show up, 100+ RSVP'd so we needed a last-minute venue change... and what better place than a local distillery, specializing in vodka, rum and gin. So we'll be sitting down at the Treaty Oak Distillery in Dripping Springs.
It might look like it's out in the middle of nowhere, but don't worry - we'll have a couple buses departing from the South Congress Hotel. Buses leave at 6:30pm (but you can always Uber out to meet us). We'll eat/drink/be merry and return home around 10pm.
TL;DR:
- Treaty Oak Distillery (16604 Fitzhugh Rd, Dripping Springs, Texas 78620)
- Buses leaving from South Congress Hotel at 6:30pm (drinks for a bit, then an 8pm sitting).
- Back in Austin by 10:30pm.
